"Assembly Required...lifts up an important but often neglected role for the choir, leading the song of the whole assembly. In the pieces by today's gifted composers, leadership is provided by choir or cantor with the end of enabling all worshipers to join in the song. The styles encourage creativity- take what is contained here and imagine how this can expand and enhance the ministry of your choir." ~ Publisher's website

"This collection of music for congregational singing contains new hymn texts with established tunes, established texts with new tunes, new texts with new tunes, and includes several short-form songs that can be repeated several times to fit the worship context. It represents the work of multiple authors and composers who have responded to the challenge of writing for today's worshiping church. A valuable resource for all who are committed to congregational singing." ~ Publisher's Website
